I’ve been quiet for a while now, haven’t posted on the blog, and haven’t put up the page for mAL and haven’t made the changes for myDownloads… That sucks.
Truth is, I’m tied up at other projects right now, and they have to come first. What little free time I have, I like to spend with my daughter. She’s only 5 months old, but like any parent can tell you, the first year is the most exciting year
I’m working on a fun project with my newly found, very good friend Jeff Stewart right now. It’s fun because it involves stuff I’ve never worked on before and never bothered checking out. So while I’m doing stuff I know, I also get to learn a bit. That’s rewarding. Can’t say much about it at the moment, but it will be a great product once it’s ready.
After that one’s out, we have a couple of other goodies planned, so there’s not much rest for me, but one of them actually involves mAL
That’s why I’m putting the release of it on hold for a while. I do have one goodie on it’s way though, once again for users of The Article System. Nothing much, really, but a way of putting really unique content on your index-page. No, not rss-feeds. Your own content. A simple news-script. I bet you haven’t thought of using that, have you? Silly you, that’s the single easiest way of making your index-page look fresh and great every time the spiders come for a sniff.
Ok, back to jEdit and coding,
l8er.

Yup. I’ve made up my mind.
Both the coming version of myDownloads and myAffiliateLinks will be offered free of charge. I’ll set up the page for mAL the coming week, and change the info on the site for myDownloads.
Feels good actually. Giving stuff away
I’m starting coding on a new app next week. That, however, will NOT be free of charge, but it will be a lot cheaper than competing products. I will not disclose the details, but if I’m able to finish it in reasonable time, it will be totally awesome

Well, I promised to release a download-manager for your website. That will come, but I’ve had a change of plans. You see, this is based on an old script of mine, called myDownloads 0.6 .. I first planned on re-writing it and making two versions of it, one free and one premium version. I’ve decided not to. It will be one, free version distributed in unaltered source-code. I simply can not be arsed to set up the distribution and payment-processing involved in this, and lately I’ve been having troubles with paypal…
Thing with paypal is this, I opened up an account with them a couple of years ago, that I’ve been using ever since. But sometimes you forget your login, their cc-processor won’t verify your cards etc., and you open up a new account to process your payment and it works fine. Then your regular account starts working again, and you forget about the other one. This has happened to me a couple of times. I don’t mind PP closing the extra-accounts, since I have simply been to brain-damaged to do it myself, but they closed down my primary account, so now I had to verify one I haven’t used more than once and track down the rest of the accounts to close them down manually so it won’t happen again… See what happens when you have a wandering mind?
Second thing, I’m actually thinking of not charging for myAffiliateLinks. Just releasing it for free, source and all, but demanding a link in return. Nothing carved in stone, but I haven’t had a single glitch with this script so far, and to be honest, I think it would be nice to actually have a tool for affiliates released for free, don’t you? Tell me what you think, help me make up my mind!

Oopsie.
Paypal closed my primary paypal-account. I haven’t really read the user-agreement, and a couple of months ago, when I couldn’t remember my password, I opened a new account. And that’s happened more than once. So they closed my primary account. That’s really freaky. It’s not something I can appeal either, by the look of things. Guess I’ll have to scout around and close the accounts they haven’t yet had the courtesy of closing for me and hope and praise they restore access for me so I can get back to business
OR JUST OPEN A NEW ACCOUNT!

This is something you really owe yourself to check out.
Eric Holmlund has decided to make the Writing Cash-program free. That’s right. Free. The cost is zero dollars.
It’s a step-by-step guide to working with ppc-search-engines and affiliate-programs, and it’s really good. I seem to think that about a lot of stuff, don’t I? Well it really is. Everything is explained in a clear language, as if you’re not expected to really know anything about
the subject, and I like that. Makes it easier to take in.
I think you should really head on over here and join now. It’s a steal. Really, it is

Wth is “power-blogging for profits” you’re thinking?
If I say Splogging, does that ring a bell?
Check out Rob Benwells ebook “Blogging to the bank“, it’s a very interesting ebook. This technique is very powerfull and profitable if applied correctly. It is also very dangerous if applied incorrectly.
He mentions a program to set up blogger-accounts. Don’t buy it. There is a new program soon to enter the net that does the same thing about $50 cheaper.
You’ll get the link when it’s available.
I Also want to give you a little something special. How would you like to get your hands on 700, yes, that’s sevenhundred, private label rights, articles for free?
Click your way over here and grab them now!
I’m busy busy busy as a beaver right now trying to get a whole bunch of different projects together and planning a bunch of new ones. I’m gonna give you a freebie-script by the end of this week or beginning of next week. A downloading-manager. So stay tuned.
mAL is working fine, but the paypal-script isn’t finished, and I’m not sure I want to use clickbank for this. We’ll see what happens.

I was supposed to have both pre-launched and launched myAffiliateLinks by now, but i haven’t… It totally slipped my mind. Reason is this:
I was checking out eBay to see what kind of info-products people were selling, and I found one that caught my interest. Not so much that I bought it, but it made me think “do people pay to find out how to do this when the info is freely available on Google?”. So I made a product dealing with the same problem myself, in Swedish, and started an auction on the Swedish web-auction-site Tradera. The answer was: Yes, people are prepared to pay for information that is freely available on the net. Probably because many of them don’t know how to search for it. I’m going to do another info-product for the Swedish market and see if I can sell that one too. The first one is selling, for more than I thought it would, and I will keep putting up auctions ’til noone is interested anylonger
Now, I know there are people out there that buys plr-articles. I know I do, and I know I’m not alone. Personalizing and making them unique is a pest. That’s why I hardly ever publish any. I think I’ve been able to publish maybe one or two so far… But that will change. I found this little gem the other day. Free to use and makes your content unique. Awesome.
Well, I guess I’d better get started on finishing that paypal-script I was doing… I just hope I can remember where in the code I was, what I was doing and most importantly, how the HECK I was thinking

I’m receiving like 2 mails every 10 minutes about the freaking insect. And the worst part is, some marketers, whose newsletters I appreciate, are sending double of everything, which means mailwasher picks it up and blacklists it.
I’m sorry Mike, I can’t afford it. I really wish I could.

Gee.
Just got of the Joyner-Filsaime-call. I started trying to connect to the web-cast around 5 minutes before the call started, but no luck. So finally, around 10 minutes after the call started I got on via telephone. I was lucky I guess, because they said the lines were full. About five minutes after I got on the call, the web-cast started working, but I noticed there was some lag, so I stayed on the telephone.
Some pretty revealing stuff there. And I’m sure I could’ve made massive use of this package, but $997 is not in my league. It’s one months wages for me. They offer three payments of $379, but it’s still not good. Too darn much. It’s killing me.
On a brighter note I made a very short info-product yesterday and put up an auction of it on Swedens largest auction-site: Tradera. The BuyNow-price was almost twice of the starting-bid, but it got sold in a couple of hours. I put up a new auction with the same product a couple of hours later, but didn’t get the same luck twice. There’s a bid for it, but just the starting-bid. Anyways, my investment in that product is Zero, so it’s profit none-the-less. I’m thinking that maybe I should write another short course In the few hours that remain until I have to get to work… Could be fun to see If I’d manage to replicate it. I mean I could sell the rights to these products later if they both are successfull. And the second product I’m thinking of is also Zero Investment to do. It’s great knowing a lot of stuff. But it’s hard writing it down.
Eric Holmlund mentioned my Snippet-rotator in his blog. Thank you, Eric
I’m gonna take some time to tidy it up later today I think, when I’ve finished up the Paypal-download-script.
Oh I wish I could afford the BM-package. It’s so awesome. I guess I’ll have to go on with my small-time plans instead. Like developing my own software and sell it terribly under-priced
